Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-26
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the EventFull mobile application (the "App") and any related services we provide (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Eventfull Ltd. ("we", "our", or "us"). Please read these Terms carefully — they form a binding agreement between you and us.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the App you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. You also confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or such higher minimum age as may be required by your local law). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
We may amend these Terms from time to time (Section 11). Your continued use of the Service after an amendment takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Account Registration
- Anonymous browsing. You may browse public Community events and open invite links without registering. While in this guest mode you receive a temporary anonymous identity (see the Privacy Policy, Section 1.2). Anonymous users cannot RSVP, vote, send chat messages, or create events.
- Registered accounts. To participate in events you must register with an email address or with Apple / Google Sign In. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.
- Account security. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at info@eventfull.me immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to protect your credentials.
- One person per account. You may not share an account with anyone else and may not transfer it to another person.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or impersonate any person, or to encourage others to do so.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent content (including fake events, fake RSVPs, or impersonation of an event host).
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that infringes third-party intellectual-property rights, violates privacy, contains malware, or is otherwise unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or hateful.
- Use the Service for any commercial promotion that has not been authorised by us in writing, including sending unsolicited messages ("spam") through chat or invite features.
- Attempt to access another user's account, interfere with the Service, reverse-engineer the App, or circumvent rate limits or security measures.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules (Section 9).
4. Event Content
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for the events you create and for all content you upload (titles, descriptions, cover images, chat messages, expense entries). You represent that you have the right to share that content and that it complies with applicable law.
- Visibility. When you set an event's visibility to "public", the event becomes discoverable in the Community feed and may be opened by any user (including guests). When set to "private", only invited users with the link or token may access it.
- Host duties. Hosts are responsible for accurately representing their events (date, location, costs) and for honouring commitments to RSVPed guests. Eventfull Ltd. is not a party to any agreement formed between hosts and guests.
- Removal of content. We reserve the right (but assume no obligation) to remove or restrict content that we, in our reasonable judgement, believe violates these Terms or applicable law.
5. Payments
Eventfull Ltd.'s expense and settlement features help you track and split costs between event participants. The App does not process or custody payments. When a settlement is "marked as paid", we record that the marker reports the transfer was made — we cannot verify that funds actually changed hands.
For local transfers (e.g. PayMe / FPS in Hong Kong, PayNow in Singapore) you transact directly with the recipient through their respective payment app. Eventfull Ltd. is not a party to these transfers and disclaims responsibility for any disputes that arise.
If we later enable a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe, PayMe, or PayNow API integration), the use of that processor will be governed by additional terms presented at the time of enablement, and your payment information will be handled in accordance with that processor's privacy policy. We will give you at least 30 days' in-app notice before enabling such a processor.
6. Intellectual Property
- Your content remains yours. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service.
- Licence to us. By submitting content you grant Eventfull Ltd. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (e.g. resize), and display the content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with other event participants and copies retained for legal or anti-fraud purposes (see Privacy Policy, Section 5).
- Our content. The App's brand, logo, source code, and original UI design remain the property of Eventfull Ltd. and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
- Stock imagery. Cover images sourced from Unsplash are subject to the Unsplash Licence.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Eventfull Ltd. is not responsible for the safety or conduct of any event organized through the app. Users are solely responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of their events.
Eventfull Ltd. is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from event participation or organization.
Eventfull Ltd. implements industry-standard security measures to protect user data; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information and disclaims all liability for unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss of data. By using the app, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to take appropriate steps to protect your personal information.
Where applicable law does not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by that law.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with:
- The laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for users located in Hong Kong; and
- The laws of Singapore for users located in Singapore.
For users located in any other jurisdiction, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region apply, without giving effect to its conflict-of-laws rules.
You agree that any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed by good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 60 days of written notice, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the above-named seat, except where local consumer-protection law gives you a non-waivable right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
9. Termination
- By you. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the App. Account deletion triggers the data-removal process described in the Privacy Policy, Section 5.
- By us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, posed a risk to other users, or where required by law.
- Effect of termination. Sections 4–7 (Event Content, Payments, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers), Section 8 (Governing Law) and Section 11 (Changes) survive termination.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers listed in our Privacy Policy (Section 3). Your use of those providers' services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of any third-party service.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
- Notify you in-app at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
If you do not agree to a revised version of the Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
